Strategic forecasting and planning of local government is one of the functions of management , a special kind of management, consisting in developing strategic solutions involving extension of the goals and strategies of behavior management facilities , the implementation of which provides the most efficient functioning of their long-term , fast adaptation to constantly changing environment . This article describes the function of the local government of the city of Vladivostok on strategic planning and forecasting, trends and explore some features of the development of Vladivostok city district.
